About Me

Hello, I'm Molly — the maker behind Wild Pixie Glass

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm a passionate stained glass artist based in the UK, creating handcrafted pieces that bring colour, light and a touch of magic into your home!

How It All Began

I’ve always been a deeply creative soul, but my journey into stained glass started completely by accident. One afternoon, I was scrolling through Facebook, stumbled across a few glass artists, and immediately fell down a rabbit hole. I was shocked to learn that traditional stained glass is actually on the endangered craft list - WHAT?!

Desperate to give it a go but finding no local classes nearby, I took the plunge and bought the bare minimum tools to teach myself. The second I started, I fell in LOVE. As a massive lover of crystals (I actually run a crystal shop too!), I’ve always been captivated by light, color and natural forms. Working with glass felt like second nature—a peaceful, meditative process where I could just lose myself in the creation.

From a Box of Glass to Wild Pixie

Before long, I had a box brimming with suncatchers and panel pieces. I was heading off to a festival with my crystal shop and thought, why not pack a few glass pieces along too? To my surprise, people connected with them right away—and I even sold my largest piece to date right there at the festival! That moment sparked the dream for Wild Pixie Glass.

What I Make & What’s Next

Every piece I create starts with a spark of inspiration whether I purchase patterns from other amazing artists or create my own. I hand-cut, grind, foil and solder each piece myself, pouring care into every step. Because of the organic nature of glass, no two pieces are ever identical.

My goal for Wild Pixie Glass is to create more than just a shop—it’s a central hub where you can find unique glass art, learn about this heritage craft and find creative resources, patterns and freebies for fellow makers.
